Hardin County Supervisors establish EMS advisory council

The Hardin County Board of Supervisors approved several routine and action items during its meeting Wednesday.

Supervisors adopted a resolution, establishing a county Emergency Medical Services System Advisory Council, described as “phase one of step two” in developing the county’s EMS system. The council will make recommendations to the board, which retains final decision-making authority.

The board approved the resignation of full-time correctional officer Mark Reifke, effective February 5th.

In other business, supervisors awarded a $2,043,769.54 paving contract to Manatt’s Inc. for work along county road D41 near Eldora and Washington Avenue north of the city. Funding will include an 80% contribution through Region Six Planning.
