The West Fork School Board approved several key items during its meeting Monday, including construction and Phase II project updates. The board approved the first-half phase II bid to Peterson Construction for $6,407,300, covering general trades, mechanical, electrical, and controls, along with equipment pre-purchase agreements for HVAC upgrades from Trane Supply. These projects are part of the $16,865,000 bond approved by voters in November 2024, which funds district-wide improvements including HVAC and electrical upgrades, roof replacements, and a secure entrance at the Sheffield Campus.
Board members set public hearings for the 2026-2027 proposed property tax levy and school calendar, both scheduled for March 23rd at the Rockwell Campus. They also approved the 2026 senior class trip and the at-risk/dropout plan for next year.
Additionally, the board approved the resignation of varsity volleyball coach, Emily Greimann.
