The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, Feb. 24, in regular session at the Franklin County Courthouse.
Road Foreman Kyle Simmons is scheduled to present a utility permit application from Frontier Communications to place fiber along Eagle Avenue from 170th Street to 190th Street. Supervisors will also consider awarding a $2.45 million contract to Mathy Construction Company for resurfacing and milling on S-56 from Highway 57 north 12 miles to Main Street in Geneva.
New business includes consideration of an urban renewal joint agreement, a request from the Clerk of Court for Leslyee’s Library in the courthouse, a resolution authorizing a transfer for Franklin County Home Care, and discussion of the fiscal year 2027 budget and fund balances.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
