Punch-Kun is the latest in zoo animal internet obsession. The Japanese snow monkey lives at the Ichikawa Zoo in Japan. The live stream has gained popularity and has fans across the world falling in love with the little guy. Punch was abandoned by his mother as an infant and only has a stuffed orangutang toy to keep him comfort. The latest video that has over 1.2 million views is of Punch being dragged across the ground by adult monkeys, simply for trying to interact with another infant monkey. The internet is up in arms and many are ready to buy a ticket to Japan to fight on Punch’s side. ME INCLUDED! A statement sent out by the Zoo states that Punch is okay, and the interaction is normal. It’s all part of his learning the social hierarchy for his breed. We all hope he grows up strong and makes lots of friends soon.
