The Iowa Falls School Board Monday will review several items related to the school’s next fiscal year budget.
The proposed property tax levy for fiscal year 2027 is $12.83 per $1,000 of assessed property value. The Iowa Falls School Board will hold public hearings on the proposed budget on March 23rd at noon and April 13th at 5:30 p.m.
Other new business includes discussion and approval of several transportation items including reducing regular bus routes from six to five and discussion on regular route drop-off locations. Board members will also discuss the latest from the state house, including state supplemental aid which was recently set at 2% for the next school year.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at the high school board room.
