Clarksville City Council sets agenda for March 16 meeting

The Clarksville City Council will hold its regular meeting Monday evening at City Hall.

During the meeting, council members will conduct a public hearing on a proposal to sell city-owned real estate located in the Railroad Addition and Hilton Addition south of West Walnut Street and west of South Adams Street. Following the hearing, the council will consider a resolution authorizing the sale of the property.

Department reports are scheduled from city officials, including the library director, fire chief, ambulance chief, police chief and maintenance department.

Under new business, the council will hear from Chris Showalter from Butler County Emergency Management, consider approving the cost of a home inspector for properties in town estimated at $1,800, discuss employee wages and form a committee for softball diamond improvements.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
