Franklin County supervisors set agenda for March 17 meeting

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday morning in regular session at the Franklin County Courthouse in Hampton.

Franklin County Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham will hold a public hearing regarding the possible vacation of Tulip Avenue. Following the hearing, supervisors will consider a resolution to vacate the county road and receive a department update.

Waddingham will be joined by Aaron Dodd for a discussion regarding the intersection of County Road C25 and Highway 65.

Other agenda items include a proclamation recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the courthouse clocktower to be lit teal.

The meeting is set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
