
The Iowa Falls City Council will meet in regular session at the city council chambers at 901 Washington Avenue.
During the meeting, the council will consider several items related to the Princess Café upper story housing rehabilitation project, including a public hearing on the status of the Community Development Block Grant and a payment request to Steege Construction for work on the project.
Council members will also hold a public hearing and consider approvals related to the Iowa Falls Municipal Airport drainage project, which includes improvements to the entrance road and terminal building drainage.
Other agenda items include public hearings on the sale of properties at 116 Ohio Avenue and 408 Park Avenue through the city’s property rehabilitation program.
Under new business, the council will consider street closures and a noise ordinance variance for Riverbend Rally 2026 scheduled for July 2 through July 4, as well as a street closure request from The 503 Bar and Backyard.
Additional discussion will include the proposed fiscal year 2026-27 budget schedule, the city’s 2026 street improvement program, and a proposed ordinance addressing junk and parked vehicles.
