The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports aired Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market in Parkersburg and Grundy Center.
The first half of the programs featured local wrestling coaches recapping their seasons and track & field coaches previewing their seasons.
Throughout the second half of the program, the final interviews from last month’s state boys wrestling tournament were featured, including local placewinners. Those listening on 104.9 KLMJ were treated to new Aplington-Parkersburg Football Coach Zach Pfantz, and Clarksville Girls Basketball all-time leading scorer Paige Kampman.
On 99 The Wave, Aplington-Parkersburg senior Emma Haan discussed the upcoming girls soccer season. Josh Kleinmeyer, Director of Partnerships at Xtream Arena, closed the program.
