Hardin County Board of Supervisors sets meeting agenda for March 25

The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing and regular meeting Wednesday, March 25, in Eldora.

The board will begin with a public hearing on the proposed property tax levy. The hearing allows residents to provide input on the county’s proposed tax rates for the upcoming fiscal year.

Following the hearing, the board will convene its regular meeting. Supervisors are scheduled to consider setting a date and time for the fiscal year 2025-26 budget hearing. Additional items include final plans for a bridge replacement project on South Avenue over the Iowa River in Iowa Falls, a utility permit for Unite Private Networks, and a community betterment grant application for Poppin Good Time.

The board will also review a hiring request for dispatch and a change of status within the sheriff’s department.

The meetings begin at 9 a.m. in the courthouse large conference room.
