The Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys tennis team got its season underway Tuesday, falling 9-0 at home to Nevada.
Despite the lopsided team score, the Bulldogs put together some competitive matches in singles. Andyn White fell 8-2 at #1, Keaton Gunderson fell 8-3 at #3, Noe Flores fell 8-2 at #4 and Juan Valenzuela fell 8-3 at #6.
In their next action, they’ll host Iowa Falls-Alden on Tuesday, April 7.
The boys soccer team began its season 0-0-1 by tying Clear Lake 2-2 at home. The goals were scored by Christian Zavala and Jesus Flores, both assisted by Hunter Rieken.
They’ll return to action Thursday by hosting Garner Hayfield Ventura.
