The Meservey City Council moved forward with its fiscal year 2027 budget process during a public hearing and special meeting held March 30.
Mayor Miller opened the proposed tax levy public hearing at 5:30 p.m., where no public comments were received. The hearing was closed and adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
Later that evening, the council reconvened for a special meeting at 6 p.m. and approved the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget as presented.
The council had previously set a public hearing on the proposed budget for April 13, but will now meet April 3 at 10 a.m. at City Hall to establish a new hearing date.

The council also set a public hearing for the proposed FY27 budget for April 13 at 6 p.m.
