Dike-New Hartford will begin the girls soccer season Thursday by hosting GCGR. It’ll air on 99 The Wave and RadioOnTheGo’s YouTube channel.
The Wolverines are coming off last year’s 11-6-1 season, and will have a fair amount of returning varsity talent. After each scoring 10 goals last year, Ruby Varney and Payton Foster are the top scorers back, but Head Coach Emma Eden expects to add more versatility to the lineup.
The Rebels will begin their season after going 4-11-2 last year. Like the Wolverines, last year’s top two goal scorers graduated, but they have more production to make up.
DNH swept last year’s matchups, each by 4-0 scores. The game will start at 5:30 with pregame coverage at 5:25.
