The AP/DNH boys soccer was scheduled to play at defending 2A champion Gilbert Thursday, but it was postponed to April 10 due to weather.
The new-look team will face a quality schedule early on, with games against returning state qualifiers Hudson and North Fayette Valley also on the horizon. Head Coach Cody Cummings says the Gilbert game highlights a series of big tests.
AP/DNH (1-1) is coming off Tuesday’s 8-2 win at Columbus Catholic, where they scored the first seven goals on their way to the lopsided win. Aiden Merrill has scored five goals on the season, with four by Cooper Mulder.
Monday’s game at Hudson will start at 5:00 p.m.
