Hardin County supervisors set agenda for April 8 meeting

The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday morning in Eldora. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Courthouse Large Conference Room.

Supervisors will consider approval of a budget appropriations resolution for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, along with the Iowa Department of Transportation’s five-year construction plan and the county’s secondary roads budget.

Board members will also review a utility permit request from the Iowa Rural Utilities Association.

Additional agenda items include a request to hire within the sheriff’s department and acknowledgment of monthly reports from the auditor, recorder and sheriff.

The board will also address personnel changes involving the conservation department and the health board, along with discussion from the EMS Advisory Committee.

A regular drainage meeting scheduled for 9:30 a.m. has been canceled.
