The Hampton-Dumont-CAL girls soccer team found some offense, but couldn’t slow down Humboldt, falling 5-2 at home Tuesday.

After giving up a score on a penalty kick early in the first half, the Bulldogs responded. Victoria Flomo hit a midrange shot and caught the goalkeeper out of position for a 1-1 tie midway through the half. A few minutes later, Flomo connected on her second goal of the game, giving the Bulldogs a 2-1 first half lead.
The Wildcats responded with two more goals in the first half for a 3-2 lead, then added two more in the second half to seal the win.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will return to action Monday at Webster City.
