
The Aplington-Parkersburg boys track & field team scored 128 points to win the team title at Monday’s East Marshall Boys Invite. Top performers:

The boys tennis team won 9-0 at Iowa Falls-Alden. Four matches were won by 6-0, 6-0 scores, including Kaidyn Purdy at #2 singles, Jonah Carney at #4 singles, Tyler Wedeking/Troy Neymeyer at #1 doubles and Jonah Carney/Noah Harbaugh at #3 doubles.
The girls golf team finished third with 221 strokes in a triangular with Denver at Waverly-Shell Rock. Sydni Ridder had a team-best 53 strokes.
The #15 (1A) girls soccer team won 4-0 at Vinton-Shellsburg, scoring two goals in each half. The boys fell 3-2 at home to Waverly-Shell Rock, with the difference being a penalty kick in the final minutes.
In Tuesday’s action, the boys golf team will compete at the East Marshall Invite, the girls track & field team will be at the Hudson Relays, and the girls soccer team will play at Union.
