A Dumont man was arrested after he was found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe during a traffic stop in rural Ackley Tuesday evening.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of Vine Avenue in rural Ackley after receiving a call of suspicious activity. The sheriff’s office K-9 helped detect the presence of illegal substances during the stop, according to Sheriff Aaron Dodd, leading to the arrest of 35-year-old Jeremy Brocka.
Dodd said Brocka was cited and released from the sheriff’s office with a promise to appear for driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
