Darwin Van Horn Elected for Another Term with Franklin REC Board

Franklin Rural Electric Cooperative has announced the results of this year’s board election, following their cooperative’s business-only meeting held on Tuesday, April 21, at the Franklin REC office in Hampton.

According to a press release from Franklin REC, incumbent Darwin Van Horn ran unopposed in District 3 and has been elected to serve another three-year term on the Franklin REC Board of Directors.

“Van Horn will continue contributing to the cooperative’s mission of providing reliable, cost-effective energy and exceptional service to its members,” it stated.

A total of 190 members participated in this year’s annual meeting.

“Franklin REC extends its appreciation to all members who took part in this year’s annual meeting and election,” the release stated. “Member participation plays a vital role in guiding the cooperative and ensuring it remains member-driven.”
