The Hampton-Dumont School Board will meet Monday afternoon with several key items on the agenda.

Board members will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget, which includes a levy rate of $11.18 per $1,000 of assessed property value. A separate hearing will be held on the 2026–27 school calendar, which sets a start date of August 24 and an end date of May 28, with two weeks off for winter break and one week for spring break.

Following the hearings, the board will consider approval of both the budget and calendar.

Members will also discuss whether to forgive a snow day from December 10, noting the district is currently three-and-a-half hours above the state-required instructional time.

The board may also enter closed sessions for legal strategy and personnel matters.

The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. at the middle school board room.
