The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports aired Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market in Parkersburg and Grundy Center.
Half of the programs featured local spring sports coaches discussing the middle portion of their seasons.
On both stations, interviews with last week’s local participants in Saturday’s events of the Drake Relays were featured. On 104.9 KLMJ, Hampton-Dumont-CAL foreign exchange student-athlete Hazem Hussein discussed joining the baseball program, rounded out by interviews with West Fork Golf, Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Iowa Falls-Alden soccer. On 99 The Wave, members of the Aplington-Parkersburg boys tennis team and North Butler girls track & field team rounded out the program.
