Track & field state qualifying meets will take place Thursday.
1A District 4 at Colfax-Mingo: AGWSR
1A District 5 at Edgewood-Colesburg: Clarksville, North Butler
1A District 9 at Saint Ansgar: Belmond-Klemme, West Fork
2A District 2 at Hudson: Aplington-Parkersburg, Dike-New Hartford
2A District 4 at Roland-Story: Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Grundy Center, Iowa Falls-Alden, South Hardin
3A District 2 at Clear Lake: Hampton-Dumont-CAL
In Class 1A, the winner of each event will earn automatic qualification to the state meet, followed by the next 14 best performances. In Classes 2A and 3A, the first and second place finishers in each event will automatically qualify, followed by the next eight best performances statewide.
The meets will start at 4:00 p.m.
