The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports aired Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market in Parkersburg and Grundy Center.
To begin the programs, individual state boys golf medalists Judd Jirovsky of Grundy Center and Benny Waller of Aplington-Parkersburg were featured, followed by those who competed in Saturday’s events at the state track & field meet.
On 99 The Wave, AP/DNH and Aplington-Parkersburg soccer players described this week’s playoff games, followed by baseball coach interviews with AP’s Brett Kleespies and Grundy Center’s Pat Brown. The show concluded with an Iowa Woo season preview with Head Coach Victor Mann.
On 104.9 KLMJ, girls soccer players from Wright County and Iowa Falls-Alden discussed their playoff wins, along with Wright County Coach Miriam Meinke and Hampton-Dumont-CAL Coach Jackie Finley.
