The Franklin County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a resolution authorizing the destruction of 2024 primary election records and took action on several administrative items during its regular meeting at the courthouse.

Supervisors also approved a one-year maintenance agreement with Solutions, the county’s software provider, following information from Auditor Katy Flint.

Supervisors also continued discussion on proposed battery storage facilities. Officials said a Board of Adjustment meeting on June 8 will consider a conditional use permit tied to an expansion of the project footprint.

Supervisors also received an update on employee handbook and Family and Medical Leave Act concerns, with further discussion expected at next week’s meeting.
