The Hampton Historic Preservation Commission and the Design Committee of the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will hold a joint meeting Thursday in Hampton.
According to the agenda, the groups will review minutes and financials, discuss Building Improvement Grant applications and consider approved grants to pay.
Other discussion items include an update on the building at 4 and 6 First St. NW, the former Rick’s Pharmacy building. The groups are also expected to discuss downtown weeds, bunting for Band Shell Park arches, Hotel Coonley awnings, grant program promotion, unused Barkema grant funds and a Preserve Iowa Summit report.
The meeting is scheduled for noon at Center 1, 5 First St. SW.
