Swine Tagging

Franklin County, Iowa – The Franklin County swine tagging will be on April 26, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. All 4-H members showing swine animals at the Franklin County Fair or the Iowa State Fair must bring their animals to be tagged at this time. 4-H members showing at the Iowa State Fair may identify up to 40 head. All swine animals showing at the Iowa State Fair must have a DNA collection sample. Swine tags are $3.50 per tag, swine DNA collectors are $5.00 per collector.
