Pioneer Days Spelling Bee is Friday During Clarksville’s 2025 Celebration

The Clarksville Pioneer Days celebration kicks off Thursday and back again this year is the Pioneer Days Spelling Bee. 

Lola Clark, one of the organizers of this event, tells RadioOnTheGo News the spelling bee began in 2002 and has several categories from 1st grade to high school students. There are also adult categories. There will be prizes for first, second and third place in each category. 

The 23rd Pioneer Days Spelling Bee is Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Clarksville Public Library. Registration will run from 2:30 to 3:00 at no cost. For more information on the Pioneer Days Spelling Bee you can call 319-269-1314 or visit clarksvilleiowa.com.
