2025 North Butler Alumna Addy Spain, the daughter of Tara Austin and Shawn Spain, was crowned as 2025 River Days Queen to kickoff Friday night’s festivities.
Spain on the honor and opportunity to represent her hometown at the upcoming county fair.
“I’ve always just had a deep passion for our town. I’m so glad to be able to represent our town as I go on to the Butler County Fair here soon and to spend the rest of the River Days here and enjoy it. It’s always just been a great event my whole life,” says Spain. “I’ve always looked up to the River Days Queen and the Fair Queen my whole life so I’m glad to be able to experience that. To go on, work and hopefully try to get the Butler County Fair Queen here.”
Other royalty recognized on Friday night included Little Miss Greene to Gentry Jensen, Little Mr. Greene Ryker Litterer and Senior River Days King and Queen to Don and Helen Lester.
Greene River Days will continue on Saturday with a full day of activities.
