The Aplington City Council last week discussed with Police Chief Matt Lind fines for nuisances.
Lind said he would reach out to the city attorney for further guidance. The item was tabled to next month by the Aplington council.
In other business, the Aplington City Council passed an ordinance amendment concerning collection fees, or for the collection and disposal of solid waste.
The collection fee will increase to $21 a month, with vacant residences to be charged $15 a month, as of July 1st.
