Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Hardin and Franklin Counties are hosting two farmland leasing meetings in August.
The first will be in Franklin County on August 19th at 1pm at the Franklin County Convention Center in Hampton. The second will be held in Hardin County at the American Legion in Radcliffe on August 21st at 9:30am.
The annual meeting is offered to address questions that landowners, tenants or other interested individuals have about leasing farmland.
The 2025 survey of cash rental rates for Iowa farmland shows that rates decreased, on average by 2-point-9 percent in 2025 to $271 an acre.
