A Radcliffe woman has been arrested following an investigation into stolen merchandise from the Iowa Falls Hy-Vee.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department arrested 40-year-old Heather Warburton Thursday night on a warrant for second-degree theft.
Iowa Falls Police Chief Josh Nelson tells RadioOnTheGo News the charges stem from a complaint filed by Iowa Falls Hy-Vee. Nelson says an investigation was done by his department and Hy-Vee and transactions from Warburton between May 7th and July 9th of this year show “probable cause to believe Warburton had stolen over $1,600 worth of merchandise during that time.”
Warburton is currently being held at the Hardin County Jail. Theft in the second degree is a class D felony in Iowa and punishable by up to five years in prison.
