The Meservey City Council has approved a change order tied to the city’s ongoing water project.
At a special meeting this week (Mon., Aug. 25), the council unanimously approved a revised detour plan for Contract II of the wellhouse project. The change reroutes semi-truck traffic around Meservey through Thornton using county roads B65, S25, and C13. City officials say the adjustment was needed due to narrow turns and road weight restrictions inside Meservey.
The change order comes at an additional cost of just under $7,900.
