The Belmond-Klemme and Hampton-Dumont-CAL cross country teams competed at the Webster City Invite on Tuesday.
In the girls race, Gilbert was the champion with a 48. Belmond-Klemme placed 10th. HD-CAL finished 13th.
Individually, Lila Swenson turned in an 18th place finish in 22:20 to lead the Broncos. MacKenzy Valley was the top finisher for the Bulldogs placing 24th in 22:53.
In the boys race, Gilbert was the champion with a 17. HD-CAL placed 15th. Belmond-Klemme finished 17th. Individually, William Vosburg led the Bulldogs placing 54th in 19:46. BK’s Nolan Muhlenbruch placed 57th in 20:10 for the Broncos top finish.
Both teams will return to the course at the Belmond-Klemme Invite on Tuesday, September 9.
