On Wednesday, the Fort Dodge Police Department announced the arrest of 38-year-old Rolman H. Recinos Gonzales on suspicion of murder in the first-degree, trafficking in stolen weapons, and person ineligible to carry dangerous weapons.
The arrest follows an investigation into early morning reports of a gunshot that occurred in the 500 block of North 28th Street that left one person dead on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim.
As of Wednesday morning, Gonzales is being held in the Webster County Jail in Fort Dodge.
