
The North Iowa Area Community College Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, Sept. 18, beginning at 5 p.m. at the NIACC campus in Mason City.
The meeting will open with a public hearing on proposed restroom and HVAC renovations at the Murphy Technology Center. Trustees will also receive reports on legislative issues from Community Colleges for Iowa, as well as select a committee to nominate officers for the 2025–26 term and appoint a voting delegate for the national Association of Community College Trustees Congress.
The board will consider approval of contracts for concurrent enrollment programs with the North Polk and Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock school districts, a new jobs training agreement with Cambrex Charles City, and the fiscal year 2026 Workforce Training and Economic Development fund plan. Action items also include approval of a lease for aviation space, a facility use agreement, investment limits, and a resolution naming depositories.
