The 15th annual Healthiest State Walk will take place Oct. 1, giving Iowans the chance to join thousands statewide in a 30-minute walk to raise awareness of the importance of physical and mental well-being.
Sponsored by Delta Dental, the walk will be held at three locations in Franklin County. In Hampton, a walk will begin at 10 a.m. at Hampton-Dumont-CAL High School and end at Band Shell Park. Another walk will start at 10 a.m. at Franklin General Hospital. A third walk will take place at 10:00 a.m. at CAL Community School District in Latimer.
