A Mason City woman is facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in Clear Lake early Friday morning. The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over 44-year-old Jamie Lynn Daniels around 1:00 a.m. near Highway 122 and North 40th Street in Clear Lake. During the stop, deputies say they discovered about five ounces of methamphetamine, a user amount of fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. Daniels was arrested and is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail. She faces charges including intent to deliver meth, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement assisted in the investigation, which remains ongoing. Authorities remind the public that an arrest does not indicate guilt. Anyone with information about drug activity can contact North Iowa Crime Stoppers at 1-800-383-0088.
