A new program aimed at teaching students biblical values during the school day is launching in the AGWSR School District. LifeWise AGWSR has named Hope Ackerman as its local director. The organization says Ackerman will play a key role in sharing the gospel with students and making a positive, life-changing impact in the community.

LifeWise Academy offers Bible-based character education classes during school hours, but organizers emphasize it does not interfere with core academic subjects. Classes are scheduled in coordination with school personnel and are held during non-core times, such as electives or lunch periods.

Each lesson includes a Bible passage and highlights values like respect, kindness, and love. The program is free to families and relies entirely on local support and donations. LifeWise is offered only to students whose parents give permission, and it’s designed to complement — not replace — before or after-school programs.
