
Some area communities are adjusting their trick-or-treat schedules due to local football teams advancing in the postseason.
In Hampton, the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs will face Osage in playoff action Friday night, prompting the city to move its trick-or-treating to Saturday, November 1st, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Sheffield has also made a change, as West Fork takes on St. Ansgar Friday evening. Trick-or-treating in Sheffield will now be held on Saturday, November 1st, from 3 to 5 p.m.
And in Clarksville, with the Indians set to play Don Bosco, the community’s trick-or-treat hours have been shifted to Saturday, November 1st, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and support their hometown football teams before celebrating Halloween festivities this week.
