
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors meets this (Mon) morning at the courthouse in Hampton, with budget planning and drainage system costs on the agenda. Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham is scheduled to provide a department update. The Supervisors will consider awarding a contract for 2026 Drainage Ditch Tree and Shrub Control. As part of the agenda, Franklin Supervisors also plan to review drainage minutes and claims, and act on a treasurer’s transfer between non-budgetary drainage funds.
This (Mon) morning’s meeting, also includes discussion on Fiscal Year 2027 budget guidelines, as a step toward shaping next year’s county spending plan. Supervisors will also acknowledge the Franklin County Sheriff’s November report before wrapping up the session.
