NBC Boys Wrestling had a stout performance at the Ogden Duals on Saturday

The North Butler-Clarksville boys wrestling team secured a third place finish at the Ogden dual tournament with a 4-1 performance on Saturday. 

The Wolves lost their first dual to Woodward-Granger (66-18) and then won their remaining duals against Kuemper Catholic (64-12), Ogden (48-30), Gilbert (52-28) and Carroll (42-41) in the third place dual.

Against Woodward-Granger, they had two falls by Jaxon Shew at 120 and Cain Neilsen at 132 and a win by forfeit.

Against Kuemper Catholic, they had five falls including Neilsen at 132, Jack Bartels at 144, Brayden Klinghammer at 157, Peyton Knoll at 165 and Ryland Pitzenberger at 175. Shew at 113 and Evan McCormick at 150 each won by technical fall.

Against Ogden, they had three falls including Bartels at 144, Knoll at 165 and Dylan Thorn at 285. NBC scored their other points on five wins by forfeit. 

Against Gilbert, they had seven falls including Jace Rupe at 113, Aiden Doty at 126, Weston Miller at 132, Bartels at 144, McCormick at 150, Alex Havranek at 175 and Pitzenberger at 190. NBC also scored on technical fall victories by Shew at 120 and Brekken Schlader at 215. 

In the third place dual against Carroll, they had five falls including Shew at 113, Miller at 132, Nielsen at 138, Bartels at 144 and Schlader at 285, whose win secured the one point dual win. 

North Butler-Clarksville will next compete at the Jones Brothers Tournament at Iowa Falls-Alden on Saturday, December 20.
