The Grundy County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday, February 17.
County Engineer Jeff Skalberg provided an update to the board. The board then approved Resolution #32, a collective bargaining agreement that includes a salary adjustment between the county and Public Professional and Maintenance Employees, Local 2003. The salary adjustments will take effect July 1 and run through June 30, 2027.
The board then tabled a floodplain development application submitted by Justin Lynch pending further information.
In other business, Veterans Affairs Commissioner Carl Huber presented a letter of resignation from Veterans Affairs Administrator Joan Watson, effective September 2026. The board also accepted and order filed the county treasurer’s January 31, monthly investment report.
