Franklin General Hospital has announced that Chief Executive Officer Kim Price will retire on July 4th after 15 years of leadership and service to the Franklin County community.
During his tenure, Price helped guide the hospital’s growth, focusing on patient-centered care, expanding services, and maintaining its role as a trusted healthcare provider in north Iowa. Hospital officials say his leadership emphasized stability, collaboration, and a strong commitment to quality care.
Price expressed gratitude for the staff and community, calling his time at the hospital the honor of his career and praising the dedication of employees.
Board of Trustees President John Trewin credited Price with helping position the hospital for the future, noting his impact on care, safety, and the hospital’s reputation as both a top employer and a leading critical access facility.
Price will continue serving as CEO during the transition while hospital leaders and MercyOne plan for new leadership.
