The AGWSR boys golf team is gearing up for postseason play, and will compete in Wednesday’s 1A sectional tournament at Oakwood Golf Course in Conrad, hosted by BCLUW.
The team is familiar with the course, having competed in an 18-hole tournament on Monday, May 4. Head Coach Ryley Schipper.
The Cougars have a team adjusted average of 185. Individually, Lane Rose has a 45 adjusted average, with a 47 by Tyler Nederhoff, among the team’s leading golfers.
Schipper says handling the short game well will be a key.
The top three teams and top two individuals (plus ties) from non-qualifying teams will advance to the district meet at St. Edmond. Play will commence at 9:00 a.m.
