Annual Grundy County Heritage Museum Open House

The annual Heritage Museum Open House will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Grundy County Heritage Museum at 204 4th St. in Morrison, Iowa. This is a free event. Come and tour the museum and enjoy free refreshments.

Special guest speaker Ben Neff will present at 2:00 pm. Ben Neff is a farmer and photographer who has perfected the craft of capturing the hidden moments of Iowa’s wildlife. From forests to fields, Ben has caught pictures of the march of bucks in the early morning, the dazzling colors of songbirds, the sunset stalking of a coyote, and even the nap of a baby badger in its own earthy home. He is sure to have some tales to tell of how he crafts his artwork around these scenes. Come and join us to learn more and also view the Jim Freed miniature Grundy County Courthouse display!
