Community Stroke Education and Training at Hansen Family Hospital

Join us for a FREE educational training presented by Mission: Lifeline Stroke, a program aimed at reducing barriers and delays in care by improving efficiencies in all systems caring for suspected stroke patients. This event is located in the Hansen Family Hospital Conference rooms; no registration required to attend.
Presenter: Matt Imming, Paramedic; Project Manager, EMS Consultant, and FAA Certified Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot for Deballe, Inc. Matt began his career in EMS over 30 years ago, working as a volunteer driver, then EMT-A for the Newell and Fonda Ambulances, and later obtained his EMT-I and Paramedic certifications while attending college at Western Iowa Tech, Sioux City. Matt has worked as a Paramedic for hospital-based services in Spencer and Storm Lake and also served as the EMS Coordinator for Iowa Central Community College. He is a previous NATA, BVCEMS TA, and IEMSA board member, as well as a National Registry Representative administering advanced-level practical evaluations in Iowa and Nebraska. Matt actively teaches continuing education classes throughout Iowa and currently serves on the American Heart Association’s Iowa Mission: Lifeline Stroke Taskforce
