NATURE’S SUPERHEROES – Annual Halloween Hikes by the Butler County Conservation

It is time for the Annual Halloween Hikes with Butler, Bremer and Chickasaw Counties. The theme this year is Nature’s Superheroes, and it is taking place in Butler County on Tuesday, October 21. You will walk a short, lime-chip, candle-lit trail through the woods on the South Side of Heery Woods Park to meet five of Nature’s Superheroes – BAT-man, SPIDER-man, ANT-man, The WASP, and Wolverine. These animals will tell you all about their amazing superpowers that lead to fictional superheroes getting their names. This is a great, non-scary and educational evening for families of all ages. After your walk, you can enjoy some refreshments and tasty treats in the lodge. This event is FREE.

While walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee you a certain hike time – as each hike time is limited for participants
