Allison City Council discusses Wilder Park

The Allison City Council this week met with Butler County Emergency Management Coordinator Chris Showalter who discussed the need to run a tile line at the EMS building and asked for the council’s permission as it would run onto a small portion of ground that is owned by the city to direct it to the storm gutter.

The Allison council approved giving Showalter permission to move forward with the tile and allow it to run across the city property.

In other business the Allison council received information concerning a proposed second campsite expansion at Wilder Park. For a second expansion, a loan of at least 85-thousand dollars would be needed. No action was taken by the council.

And the Allison City Council reviewed the cemetery ordinance and is going to continue to enforce the signage that is out at the cemetery in which the public works employees will pick up the old flowers and anything that is not on the stones 2 weeks after Memorial Day.
