Latest U-S Drought Monitor report released
Close to 43 percent of Iowa has no drought conditions listed this week compared to over 45 percent last week.
The latest U-S Drought Monitor shows there was a slight increase in the coverage of the moderate drought areas of the state.
The western portions of Wright and Hancock, southeastern Franklin, northeastern Hardin, two-thirds of Butler, and one half of Grundy Counties are listed as being abnormally dry this week while the rest of the broadcast area shows no drought conditions.
