Hampton Cemetery Walk to be Held Sunday
The fourth Hampton Cemetery Walk will be held Sunday.
Walks will start at 1:00 p.m. and another walk will begin at 2:00 p.m. Those who attend can learn about the history of individuals buried at the cemetery and Paul Flint, who is on the Friends of the Hampton Cemetery Board, tells Radio on the Go News there will be a variety of citizens featured during the walks.
Flint says all proceeds from the walk will go toward improvements at the cemetery.
The 2023 Hampton Cemetery Walk fundraiser will be held Sunday, with walks starting at 1:00 p.m. There will be free parking at the First Christian Church. The walk starts at the north entrance of the cemetery. Admission is 10 dollars and refreshments will be served.
